Ingredients for Biryani Recipe

  • 1/2 cups Basmati rice
  • 0.13 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Yogurt (curd)
  • 3/4 Pieces Sliced onion
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger paste
  • 0.13 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp green chilli paste
  • 0.13 cup Tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 0.13 tsp Green cardamom powder
  • a pinch Saffron
  • 1/4 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Green coriander leaves
  • to taste Salt
  • 1.75 tbsp Oil
  • 1/4 cup Curd
  • 3/4 Pieces sliced onion
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger paste
  • 0.13 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp green chilli paste
  • 0.13 cup Tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 0.13 tsp Green cardamom powder
  • a pinch Saffron
  • 1/4 tsp Saffron
  • 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • to taste Green coriander leaves
  • 1.75 tbsp Salt

Directions: Biryani Recipe

  • STEP 1.Mix tomato puree, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, roasted cumin powder, garam masala, coriander powder and salt. Stir well.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan. Fry the onions until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add 4 cups of water to the rice. Mix saffron in milk and add to it.
  • STEP 4.Add cardamom powder.
  • STEP 5.Pressure cook the rice. Mix gently.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with green coriander leaves and serve hot.
