Ingredients for Bird Nest Cutlet Recipe

  • 1.67 Pieces Boiled Potato
  • 1.33 Cup Green peas ( boiled)
  • 1/2 Tsp Coriander powder
  • 0.33 Tsp Red chili powder
  • 0.08 Tsp Garam Masala
  • 0.17 Tsp Chat Masala
  • 1.33 Pieces Green chili
  • 0.33 Tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1 Tbsps Decorating- Paneer balls
  • 1.33 Tbsp Maida
  • 0.33 Cup Vermicelli
  • As Required Water
  • As Required Oil

Directions: Bird Nest Cutlet Recipe

  • STEP 1.Mix Mashed potatoes, peas, green chilies, ginger garlic paste, all Masala powders & salt. Adjust salt to taste.
  • STEP 2.Knead it without lumps as we do for chapatti dough.Divide potato mixture in to equal size balls.
  • STEP 3.Mix All purpose flour, salt with required water and make it as thick batter as we do for bhaji batter.
  • STEP 4.Take vermicelli in a plate or bowl & keep it ready.
  • STEP 5.gently press the balls to give nest like shape & make gentle thumb impression on middle of the ball.Dip potato balls in all purpose flour batter & roll it on vermicelli.
  • STEP 6.Make sure vermicelli is coated on all sides & it is more uneven.
  • STEP 7.Heat oil in a kadai & drop the prepared nest & fry till it turns golden brown colour.
  • STEP 8.Prepare Paneer balls by mashing it and adding salt, fry them for few second so that there color wouldn’t change.
  • STEP 9.Drop it in middle of the potato nest to make it to appear as bird’s eggs.
  • STEP 10.Serve with Tomato ketchup.
