Ingredients for Bhindi Masala Recipe

  • 166.67 Gram bhindi
  • 0.33 Pieces Onion large finely chopped
  • 0.67 Pieces Green chillies Finely chopped
  • 0.17 Tsp Carom Seeds
  • 0.33 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 0.08 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 0.11 Tsp fennel seed powder
  • 0.11 Tsp Dry Mango Powder
  • 0.08 Tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 0.17 Tsp Salt
  • 0.08 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 0.33 Tbsp Oil

Directions: Bhindi Masala Recipe

  • STEP 1.First of all, wash and pat dry the okra / bhindi with the help of kitchen towel.
  • STEP 2.Now remove crown of okra as well as bottom end from okra. Chop all the bhindi.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a kadhai add carom seeds once oil is warm. Add chopped onions and sauté till translucent.
  • STEP 4.Now add coriander powder, fennel seed powder, dry mango powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt and red chilli powder, and sauté for 1 minute.
  • STEP 5.Add chopped chillies and Okra to it and mix well so that the masala coats well on bhindi.
  • STEP 6.Cover it with lid and keep the flame to low. Let it cook for 7-8 minutes. Sauté and cover again for few more minutes until bhindi is cooked properly.
  • STEP 7.Switch off the flame and let it be covered for 3-4 minutes.
  • STEP 8.Serve hot.
