Ingredients for Bhindi Ka Salan Recipe

  • 1 tablespoon Peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut powder
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • As required Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 0.12 teaspoon Methi seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kalonji
  • 3 No.s Red chilly
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 Curry leaves sp
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon Chilly powder
  • 1 No.s Onions
  • pinch Turmeric
  • 2 No.s Green chilly
  • 1/2 Coriander chopped b
  • 1/2 Mint chopped b
  • 200 gram Bhendi
  • 1/4 cup Tamarind juice
  • 1 piece Jaggery small

Directions: Bhindi Ka Salan Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Heat a pan add peanuts dry roast this in a slow flame, add sesame seeds, dry roast along with peanuts, then add coconut powder, sauté it and put this into the blender, add some water and make a paste.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, when mustard seeds splutter add cumin seeds, red chilli, methi seeds, kalonji (optional), add sliced onions, salt, curry leaves, cook this till onions are golden in colour, add ginger garlic paste cook this till raw flavor is gone, add turmeric, red chilly powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, green chilly, add peanut and sesame seed paste, water, mix it like a thin paste.

  • STEP 1.Cook this in a slow flame for 30 minutes, then add chopped coriander, chopped mint, add tamarind juice, jaggery, salt, once it comes to boil add bhindi (fry the bhindi in the oil) cook this in a slow flame for 10 minutes. Serve this hot with rice or roti.
