Ingredients for bhindi ka bhujiya Recipe

  • 125 grams Bhindi washed
  • 1/2 nos - onion
  • As required finely chopped
  • 1 nos - tomatoes
  • 1 nos - green chilies
  • 1/2 teaspoon - Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon - Coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon - cumin seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon - red chili powder (adjust according to your spice preference)
  • As required - salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoons - oil
  • As required - Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Directions: Bhindi Ka Bhujiya Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. Heat oil in a pan or kadhai over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  • STEP 2.2. Add chopped onions and green chilies. Sauté until the onions turn translucent.
  • STEP 3.3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
  • STEP 4.4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.
  • STEP 5.5. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook the spices for a minute to enhance their flavors.
  • STEP 6.6. Add thinly sliced bhindi to the pan. Mix well until the bhindi is coated with the spices.
  • STEP 7.7. Cover and cook the bhindi stir-fry for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the bhindi is tender and cooked through. If needed, sprinkle a little water to prevent sticking and to aid the cooking process.
  • STEP 8.8. Once the bhindi is cooked, adjust the seasoning if necessary. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  • STEP 9.9. Serve hot Bhindi ka Bhujia with roti, paratha, or rice. Enjoy your flavorful okra stir-fry!
