Ingredients for Besan Pyaaz Ke Cheela Recipe

  • 1 No.s Onion Finely Chopped
  • 1 No.s Green chilli finely chopped
  • As required Coriander leaves finely chopped A few
  • 1 cup Besan
  • 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds, freshly pounded
  • 1 cup Olive Oil For Frying
  • 1 tablespoon Green chutney for serving

Directions: Besan Pyaaz Ke Cheela Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl add 1 cup besan, 1 onion finely chopped, 1 to 2 green chillies according to taste, finely chopped, a few sprigs coriander leaves finely chopped, 1 tsp freshly pounded fennel seeds, salt to taste.

  • STEP 1.Add water and mix well to make a smooth flowing batter that is not too thick.

  • STEP 1.Preheat a pan. Sprinkle a little water on the pan to check if it is hot. If it sizzles, the pan is hot.

  • STEP 1.Turn the heat to low and ladle some cheela batter onto the pan and gently spread with the back of the ladle. Drizzle a little olive oil around the cheela and a little on top of it.

step 5

  • STEP 1.Increase the hat and allow the bottom of the cheela to brown a little. Then flip it over and allow the other side to cook. Press down gently, to ensure that the cheela cooks through and browns a little. Turn off the heat.
