Ingredients for Besan Laddoo Recipe

  • 0.13 cups gram flour
  • 0.03 Cups desi ghee
  • 0.07 cup Powdered sugar
  • 0.07 tsp Cardamom
  • As Required For Ganishing Dry fruits Almond and pistachio

Directions: Besan Laddoo Recipe

  • STEP 1.* firstly, in a large kadai heat ½ cup ghee and add 2 cup besan.
  • STEP 2.* roast on low flame until the besan is well combined with ghee. make sure to use coarse besan for grainy texture.
  • STEP 3.* continue to roast on low flame. if the mixture turns dry, add a tbsp of more ghee.
  • STEP 4.* after 20 minutes, the besan starts to release ghee.
  • STEP 5.* continue to roast until the besan turns golden brown and grainy. it may take approximately 30-45 minutes.
  • STEP 6.* transfer the mixture to a large bowl, allowing to cool slightly.
  • STEP 7.* take 1 cup sugar and 4 pods cardamom in a blender. you can alternatively use tagar or boora.
  • STEP 8.* blend to a fine powder without adding any water.
  • STEP 9.* once the besan is cooled (slightly warm) add in powdered sugar.
  • STEP 10.* mix well making sure everything is well combined. do not add sugar if the mixture is hot, as it will melt the sugar and makes mixture watery.
  • STEP 11.* prepare a ball sized ladoo adjusting sugar as required. After garnished almond and pistachio
