Ingredients for Besan Ki Papdi Recipe

  • 1.50 cup Gram flour
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ajwain
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kasuri methi

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a bowl add gram flour. Add asafoetida and carrom seeds in the gram flour. Add red chilli powder, turmeric, kasuri methi, 1 tbsp and salt. Knead with water and make a stiff dough. set aside.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Flatten the dough. Now take a circular cap of a container and cut the dough in round shape. Then press the surface of the papdi with fork, add oil in a kadai and heat it. Now deep fry until golden brown.
