  • 0.38 inch Cinnamon stick
  • 1 Small green cardamom
  • 1 Cloves
  • 1/2 Tejpatta/indian bay leaves
  • pinch Aof mace
  • As required A few grinds of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 inch Fresh ginger, grated
  • 0.38-1/2 cup Packed onion very finely sliced in 0.5 moon
  • 1/2 cup 0.25-1/raw cashews
  • 1/2 cup 0.25-1/golden or sultana raisins
  • As required A fistful of slivered almonds
  • As required Salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon Sugar or to taste +0.5 teaspoon
  • 0.13 cup 0.25 shelled peas
  • As required A sprinkle of turmeric powder ,only if you want light yellow hue
  • 1/4 Slit green chili pepper
