  • 1-2 cup Handmade noodles
  • As required Ingredients for fried sauce
  • 10 ounce Ground pork belly
  • 4 tablespoon Soy bean sauce
  • 1.50 tablespoon Sweet soy bean sauce
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1.50 tablespoon Minced ginger
  • 1.50 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1.50 tablespoon Chopped scallion
  • As required Ingredients for vegetable toppings
  • As required Julienned Carrots
  • As required Julienned cabbage
  • As required Chopped chinese celery
  • As required Bean Sprouts
  • As required Julienned cucumber

Directions: Beijing Fried Sauce Noodles Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.-1in a mixing bowl add 4 tbsp soy bean sauce, 1 ½ tbsp sweet soy bean sauce, ¼ cup water. Mix until well combined.

  • STEP 2.-2heat a wok on high for 10 seconds. Then turn the heat to low and add 1 to 2 tsp vegetable oil, add 10 oz ground pork belly and saute on low heat for 3 minutes. The fat will melt and the meat will turn a little golden brown. Push the pork to one side of the wok.

  • STEP 3.-3add the prepared sauce mixture into the hot oil and stir on low heat for 1 minutes.

  • STEP 4.-4then add 1 ½ tbsp minced garlic, 1 ½ tbsp minced ginger, 1 ½ tbsp chopped scallion. Mix the pork together and stir well.

  • STEP 5.-5stir to ensure that the sauce does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Cook for 5 minutes stirring continuously.

  • STEP 6.-6when it is ready , the oil will separate from the pork sauce. The oil will be clear and the sauce will be dark.

  • STEP 7.-7turn off the heat. Transfer the sauce to a bowl. Use a sieve to transfer the fried sauce, if the fat in the wok is not desired.

  • STEP 8.-8to prepare the noodles, fill water in a pot and bring it to a boil. Add handmade noodles to the boiling water and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes. After 2 minutes check a noodle to test whether it is cooked. Using a slotted spoon take the noodles out of the water and place them in a wid serving bowl.

  • STEP 9.-9place a spoon full of cut carrot, cabbage, cucumber, sprouts and celery on top of the noodles and add the fried pork sauce as desired.

  • STEP 10.-10beijing fried sauce noodles are ready.
