- 1 large brinjal
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 pinch red chilli powder
- 3/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1.50 teaspoon Sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon Flour
- 80 gram mustard oil

How to Make Begun Bhaja Recipe
Wash big size brinjals and cut then in round shapes
Now marinate it with little salt and turmeric.
Heat oil in a pan and once it starts to smoke, leave the aubergine pieces in the hot oil
Bring the heat to medium and keep turning them in both until well done in both sides.
Mix the spices with flour and coat the sliced brinjals with it.
Coat the brinjals with the mixture
Heat a frying pan with mustard oil
Deep fry the coated brinjals
Serve as a side dish with rice and dal
