Ingredients for Beetroot appe Recipe

  • 0.38 cup Semolina suji
  • 0.13 cup Beetroot juice
  • 0.13 cup Curd
  • 1/4 pieces Onion Chopeed
  • 1/2 pieces Green chillies chopped
  • 0.13 cup capsicum chopped
  • 0.13 cup Carrots chopped
  • 0.06 cup Coriander leaves chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 0.06 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.13 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • 0.06 tsp Asafoetida
  • 0.13 tbsp Mustard seeds
  • 0.13 tbsp Cumin seeds

Directions: Beetroot Appe Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take a bowl ,add suji, beetroot juice, curd, chopped all vegetables, salt, black pepper, chopped coriander, hing powder in it.
  • STEP 2.Add some water and make a smooth batter. it should not be too thick or thin.
  • STEP 3.Take a pan,add oil in it.
  • STEP 4.Add musturd seeds, curry leaves and make a tadka.
  • STEP 5.Put in the suji mixture,and add baking powder.
  • STEP 6.Mix properly and keep aside for 15 min.
  • STEP 7.Take a appe stand and grease with some oil,put some mixture in appe moulds then cook on gas by covering it. When it gets cooked from up then change its side and cook.

  • STEP 10.Serve it with garlic dry chutney or coconut chutney.
