Ingredients for Beetroot and spinach salad (sweet and sour beetroot-spinach salad) Recipe
- As Required For base
- 1 Pieces 2 small beetroots peeled andcut into small pieces
- 1 cup spinach thickly chopped
- 1/2 cup rocket leaves finely chopped
- As Required For chutney (dressing)
- 1/4 cup cucumber cut into small pueces
- 2 Pieces dates with their seeds removed
- 0.13 cup Chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 tbsp 1/1/2 tbsp
- 0.13 tsp Cumin powder
- As Required For garnish
- 0.13 g grated coconut fresh
- 3 Pieces 6 wallnuts soaked and chopped

How to Make Beetroot And Spinach Salad (sweet And Sour Beetroot-spinach Salad) Recipe
STEP 01
This salad has two parts:-

2. Date and coriander chutney:-

For base:-
STEP 05
Take a pan add water and add beetroot' small pieces in it. Allow them to steam and soften for 5 minutes.
STEP 06
While your beetroot is steaming...take 2 cups of thickly chopped spinach. Similarly, take 1 cup of thickly chopped any leafy vegetable. I take rocket leaves as they taste really good. Transfer all d veggies in a bowl.

Now we prepare our sweet and sour coriander date chutney.

For chutney:- (Dressing)

Take 1/2cup freshly chopped cucumber ,for sweetness add 4 dates with their seeds removed ,add 1/4cup chopped coriander leaves ,1.5 tbsp lemon juice and 1/4tsp cumin powder. Blend this mixture until it's smooth.

Now our chutney is ready too.

Did you notice we added no salt to this salad or chutney?

No we didn't forget to add salt to salad. It has already salt!

How?green veggies like spinach have their own natural salt.

Add this chutney to all veggies. Mix it well.

For garnishing:-

Sprinkle 1/4 cup chopped coconut kernel and 6 soaked and chopped wallnuts.
