A mexican recipe of corn husk with beef sauce filling. Pork is the traditional filling for tamales in New Mexico but as pork is used in Carne Adovada, people chose to use beef filling for these tamales. Try out this delecious recipe on your own and serve it with yur favourite sauce.

Ingredients for Beef Tamales Recipe
- As required For Red Beef Chile Filling
- 4 tablespoon Oil
- 1.50 kilogram beef shoulder roast
- 2 tablespoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 4-6 cup Beef Broth
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/4 onion chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 package guajillo chiles
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- As required For Tamales
- 30 Corn husks
- 3.50 cup prepared Masa
- 3 pound Red Chile Beef filling
- 2 cup Hot water

How to Make Beef Tamales Recipe
STEP 01
For the filling, add 2tbsp oil in a pot
STEP 02
Season all the beef with salt and pepper
STEP 03
Roast the beef, add beef broth, garlic, onions, bay leaf.
STEP 04
Remove the beef and rest it. Reserve 2 cups of beef broth and discard the rest
STEP 05
Remove steam and seeds from guajillo chilies. Soak the guajillo chilies in hot water
STEP 06
In a blender, blend the soaked chilies,garlic ,cumin,salt,pepper and reserved beef broth to make red chili sauce
STEP 07
In a pan add oil and the sauce. Add the shredded beef and mix well
STEP 08
Soak the corn husk for 30 minutes. Add masa the the corn husks and the filing
STEP 09
Fold the sides and the tail. Place some corn husk on the bottom of the pan
STEP 10
Then place the filled corn husk over it. Add water and steam for 2 hours
