  • 4 piece Black cardamom
  • 1 piece Star Anise
  • 3 gram Long pepper
  • 2 gram Peppercorns
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mace
  • 7 gram Fennel Seeds
  • 5 gram Coriander seeds
  • 4 gram Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Shah jeera
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ajwain
  • As required Turmeric powder
  • 3 gram Red chilli powder
  • 8 gram Kashmiri red chili
  • 10 gram Ginger Powder
  • 12 gram Ginger paste
  • 8 gram Garlic paste
  • As required Cooking Oil
  • 4 piece Bay Leaves
  • As required Salt
  • As required Hot Water
  • 10 gram Whole wheat flour with water

How to Make Beef Nihari Recipe

STEP 01

Dry roast green cardamom 6pcs,cinnamon 1pc,cloves 5pcs ,black cardamom 4pcs ,star anise 1pc ,long pepper 3g ,peppercorns 2g ,nutmeg ¼ tsp ,mace ¼ tsp ,fennel seeds 7g ,coriander seeds 5g ,cumin seeds 4g ,shah jeera ½ tsp,ajwain ½ tsp

STEP 02

Grind them into a powder

STEP 03

Marinate the beef with turmeric powder,red chilli powder 3g ,kashmiri red chili 8g ,ginger powder 10g ,ginger paste 12g ,garlic paste 8g and the mixed spices power

STEP 04

Coat well

STEP 05

Heat the heavy pot and put oil

STEP 06

Add the marinated beef and fry lightly

STEP 07

Add bay leaves, salt and hot water

STEP 08

Allow to simmer gently for 4hours or until the beef separates from bone

STEP 09

Take out 2tbsp oil from the curry

STEP 10

Add the wheat flour paste and mix well

STEP 11

Take out the bone marrow from the bone and mix with the curry

STEP 12

Serve in a bowl and garnish with the oil from the curry, chopped ginger, green chili and chopped coriander leaves

STEP 13

Serve with dal puri
