  • STEP 1.1 preheat the oven at 400 degree f.

  • STEP 2.2 place ancho chiles in a pan and add broth to it.

  • STEP 3.3 bring the broth to boil and reduce the heat. Simmer it for 5 more minutes.

  • STEP 4.4 give it a stir and add one torn tortilla in it.

  • STEP 5.5 blend the chile mixture in a blender and let it sit for 10 minutes.

  • STEP 6.6 add cilantro, garlic and green onions to the blender and make a smooth paste.

  • STEP 7.7 pour the mixture in a pan and bring to a boil over medium heat.

  • STEP 8.8 cook for 7 minutes by stirring occasionally.
