- 0.06 kilogram Beef
- 0.13 tablespoon Coriander powder
- 0.06 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tablespoon Chilly powder
- As required Salt
- 0.13 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 0.13 cup Vinegar
- 0.13 Curry leaves stem
- 6.25 gram Tamarind
- 0.38 tablespoon Garlic paste
- 0.38 tablespoon Ginger paste

How to Make Beef Achar Recipe
Steps To Prepare
STEP 01
Wash and clean the beef and dice it into small cubes.
STEP 02
Marinate the beef cubes with 1 tsp each of chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and a pinch of salt and keep them aside for 30 minutes.
Cooking Directions
STEP 01
Add the marinated meat pieces to a pressure cooker and cook with ½ cup of water on medium flame till 5 whistles.
STEP 02
Heat 3 tsp sesame oil in a deep-bottomed fry pan and transfer the cooked beef. Fry till the beef cubes are crispy and keep them aside.
STEP 03
Now, into the same pan, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds and let them splutter.
STEP 04
When the mustard seeds splutter, add 3 tbsp chopped green chilly, 1 tbsp of ginger paste and garlic paste each. Saute well.
STEP 05
Pour 1 cup of tamarind water and cook till the tamarind water is fully absorbed and evaporated. Next, add 3 tsp chili powder and 3 tsp of homemade pickle powder. Stir the ingredients well to incorporate.
STEP 06
Finally pour in 1 cup of vinegar and a pinch of salt and let the gravy come to boil.
STEP 07
Turn off the flame and transfer the fried beef into the gravy and mix well. The beef pickle is ready.
