Ingredients for Beans Undhiyu Recipe

  • 0.13 Cups Half a cup of green chickpeas
  • 0.13 Cups Half a cup of green peas
  • 0.13 Cups Half a cup of green Tuwer
  • 0.13 Cups Half a cup of green Wal
  • 0.13 Cups Half a cup of green chola
  • 1/4 Pieces A medium potato
  • 1/4 Pieces A medium onion
  • 1/4 Pieces A medium tomato
  • 1/2 Pieces Two green chilies
  • 0.13 Inch Half an inch piece of ginger
  • 1 Pieces Four cloves of garlic
  • 1 Pieces Four lounge
  • 1/4 Inch An inch piece of cinnamon
  • 1/4 Tsp A teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 0.13 Tsp Half a teaspoon of turmeric
  • 0.13 Tsp Half a teaspoon coriander
  • 0.13 Tsp Half a teaspoon of garam masala
  • 0.63 Tbsp Two and a half tablespoons of oil
  • To Taste Salt proportionately
  • As Required Half a glass of water
  • A Stalk A bowl of green fenugreek leaves
  • 1/4 Cup One cup of Besan
  • 1/4 Tbsp A tablespoon of millet flour
  • 0.13 Tbsp Half tablespoon Sooji
  • A Pinch Pinch of baking soda
  • 1/4 Tbsp A teaspoon of oil
  • 0.13 Tsp Half teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 0.13 Tsp Half Teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • As Required Salt proportionately
  • As Required Around a quarter cup of water
  • As Required Oil for frying

Directions: Beans Undhiyu Recipe

  • STEP 1.First wash the fenugreek leaves, clean it and dry it. Then get it finely chopped and add the given spices and mix it. Add besan and other flours. Add water and keep stirring. When the handful is ready, set it aside. Prepare the pan for frying. Deep fry vadis until they turn crispy and brown and keep them aside.
  • STEP 2.Now add ginger, chilli, garlic, tomato, onion and cinnamon cloves in the mixer and grind it.  Add oil in the cooker for tampering and add all the mix of fresh green herbs including onions and shallow fry it for one minute. Add peeled and diced potato then all the beans and mix it well. Cook it for 2-3 minutes. Now add all the spices and mix well and add enough water as required and put the cooker lead on and cook for six to seven whistles and then let it cool down. Add the prepared Methi vadi in a bowl and pour the prepared beans curry on top, cover well and let it rest for one hour. Then stir well and serve hot.
