  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 2.25 Y Leaves
  • 1/4 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/4 cup Grated Coconut
  • As required Water As Required

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
  • STEP 5.Add boiled and cubed potatoes, salt, and tamarind pulp. Mix well.
  • STEP 6.Add water and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • STEP 7.In a separate pan, roast grated coconut until golden brown.
  • STEP 8.Grind the roasted coconut with water to make a fine paste.
  • STEP 9.Add the coconut paste to the potato mixture and mix well.
  • STEP 10.Simmer for another 5 minutes and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • STEP 11.Serve hot with rice or bread.

  • Make sure to roast the coconut until it turns golden brown for a rich flavor.
