Batata is an arabic word of potatoes. This lebanese dish is made by stir fry potatoes in garlic and coriander. First the potato cubes deeply fried until crispy then toss into garlic and coriander leaves with drizzle of lemon juice. Simple recipe but very flavourful, can be used as a starter or side dish.
