It is a vegetarian dish made from a variety of millet known as Barnyard millet. it is one the 5 millets, which have been named "Siridhanya" millets because of their medicinal value. Barnyard millet is also known in Northern India as "Samak ke chawal" usually eaten during fasts.

  • 1/4 Cup Soaked and cooked kidney beans
  • 125 g ms mix seasonal vagetables
  • 6.25 Gms regular indian spices
  • 7.50 g ms pure ghee

Directions: Barnyard Millet Cassarole Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. boil and grind the soaked barnyard millet
  • STEP 2.2. cut mix vegetables in cubes and saute in pure ghee
  • STEP 3.3. mix the spices
  • STEP 4.4. spread the vegetables in greased baking dish
  • STEP 5.5. now pour the puried millet over it
  • STEP 6.6. bake in Oven for 40 minutes at 190 degree
