  • 1/4 cup Yogurt

  • STEP 1.Prepare the mustard paste by grinding mustard seeds, green chilies, and grated coconut together.
  • STEP 2.In a bowl, mix the mustard paste with yogurt, turmeric powder, salt, and sugar.
  • STEP 3.Take cabbage leaves and spread the mustard-yogurt mixture on one side of each leaf.
  • STEP 4.Fold the cabbage leaves to form a parcel and secure it with toothpicks.
  • STEP 5.Wrap the cabbage parcels in banana leaves and steam them for about 15-20 minutes.
  • STEP 6.Once cooked, remove the toothpicks and serve the Bandhakopir Paturi hot with rice or roti.
