Banana Pradaman is a sweet sacrament prepared with banana,coconut and jaggery as main ingredients. Nendram Pazham Payasam is a sweet pudding made with bananas and coconut milk. It happens to be the most aromatic and delicious dessert from Kerala. The pradhaman is plain and while having a bite of it, you can add cooked sago or vermicelli or broken rice for a change. But it is always made plain only.

Ingredients for Banana Pradaman Recipe

  • 5 gram Ghee
  • 3/4 No.s Banana
  • 75 gram Jaggery
  • 62.50 milliliter Coconut milk
  • 7.50 gram Rice flour
  • 1 No.s Cardamom
  • 3.75 gram Cashew nuts
  • 3.75 piece Coconut gm
  • 3.75 gram Black raisins
  • 12.50 milliliter Coconut cream
  • 0.13 As required Water litre

Directions: Banana Pradaman Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a pan at low flame, add 3 peeled bananas, mash the bananas and 300gm of jaggery. Let the jaggery melt.
  • STEP 2.Then add water and let cook for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 3.In a mixing bowl add 250ml of coconut milk and 30gm of rice flour and then add this mix in the pot.
  • STEP 4.Add cardamoms and keep aside.
  • STEP 5.In a different pan add ghee for frying, add cashew nuts, coconut pieces and black raisins. Fry for 2 minutes and drop in the banana mix along with the coconut cream .
  • STEP 6.Mix everything and serve in a bowl.
