  • 1/2 Boiled Potatoes, Mashed

Directions: Banana Kofta Curry (without Onion Garlic) Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mash ripe bananas and boiled potatoes together.
  • STEP 2.Add gram flour, rice flour, ginger paste, green chili paste, coriander leaves, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth dough.
  • STEP 3.Shape the dough into small balls and deep fry them until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
  • STEP 5.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Add water and bring the gravy to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Gently add the fried koftas to the gravy and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
