  • 1.33 Pieces Raw bananas
  • 0.33 Litre Oil for frying
  • 0.33 tsp Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1.33 cups water

Directions: Banana Chips/kele Ke Chips/ Dried Banana Wafers Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. firstly, slit the banana and peel the skin of raw banana.
  • STEP 2.2. peel off the skin completely. grease the hand with oil if it turns sticky.
  • STEP 3.3.now slice to medium thickness.
  • STEP 4.transfer to a large bowl and add 1 tsp salt and ½ tsp turmeric.
  • STEP 5.4. pour 4 cup water and give a good stir. adding turmeric helps to give a bright yellow colour to chips.
  • STEP 6.5. drain off the water completely.
  • STEP 7.now deep fry in oil.
  • STEP 8.6.stir occasionally, and fry on medium flame.
  • STEP 9.fry for 10-12 minutes or until it turns crisp yet not turn golden brown.
  • STEP 10.7.drain off over kitchen paper to remove excess oil.
  • STEP 11.8. Ready to serve and store in an airtight container.
