0.55 cup maida / plain flour / refined flour / all purpose flour
1/20 tsp Sugar
1/10 tsp Baking powder
as required Water as required
0.03 cup Ghee / clarified butter
0.03 cup curd / yogurt
1/10 cup Sugar
1/20 cup water
A Few thread saffron / kesar - few
0.03 tsp cardamom powder / elachi powder
Directions: Balushahi Recipe
STEP 1.firstly, in a large mixing bowl take 1½ cup maida.
STEP 2.also add ½ tsp sugar, ½ tsp baking powder. combine well.
STEP 3.now add ¼ cup ghee and crumble the mixture.
STEP 4.further add ¼ cup curd and combine well.
STEP 5.additionally add ¼ cup water and start to make dough without kneading.
STEP 6.cover with moist cloth and rest for 15 minutes.
STEP 7.after the dough has rested for 15 minutes, slightly knead the dough.
STEP 8.pinch a small ball sized dough and make ball.
STEP 9.make a dent at the centre with the help of thumb.
STEP 10.deep fry in medium hot oil on low flam till the balls turn golden brown and crisp.
STEP 11.drop them into warm sugar syrup immediately.
STEP 12.coat the badhusha with sugar syrup both the sides and soak for 5 minutes.
STEP 13.finally, serve balushahi recipe .
