Ingredients for Baklava Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3.50 cup white flour
  • 2.50 teaspoon baking powder
  • As required Salt
  • 1 cup dry fruits
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 Lime Juice

  • 2-3 piece Cinnamon Stick
  • 3 tablespoon corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon white flour

Directions: Baklava Recipe

For Dough

  • STEP 1.Take an enormous bowl
  • STEP 2.Add 1/2 cup oil(refined odourless)
  • STEP 3.Add one cup milk(diluted with water i.e 1/2 cup milk & 1/2 cup water)
  • STEP 4.Add 3.5 cup white flour(maida)
  • STEP 5.Add 2.5 tsp leaven
  • STEP 6.Add salt(more then a pinch)
  • STEP 7. Mix it with an electrical blender/knead well with hands, create a soft dough.

For Dry Fruit Mixture

  • STEP 1.Grind one cup dry fruits(cashews, almonds, walnuts and pistachios) coarsely in a chopper/mixer grinder.

For Syrup

  • STEP 3.Add a bit of orange peel

  • STEP 1.Take a bowl, add three tbsp corn flour and one tbsp white flour, combine it well and dirt a containerful of this mixture on a room platform/flat surface.
