Ingredients for Baked Rasgulla Recipe

  • As required stove
  • 1 ltr full cream milk
  • 4 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 pinch Saffron
  • 2-3 Cardamoms
  • As required Baked
  • 300 milliliter Milk
  • 150 milliliter condensed milk
  • As required Khoya
  • As required Nuts and pistachios

Directions: Baked Rasgulla Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.First, we will see how to make the cheena- so take a saucepan to add the 1ltr full cream milk to it.

step 2

  • STEP 2.Keep stirring it. Then once the milk comes to a boil squeeze half a lemon to the milk and keeps stirring.

step 3

  • STEP 3.Make sure all the milk assembles in a chunk. Then we will take another bowl, sieve, and a muslin cloth.

step 4

  • STEP 4.We will put the muslin on top of the sieve so that we can squeeze the extra water.

step 5

  • STEP 5.Pour the milk and lock the solid ingredient in the muslin cloth. Squeeze the hot water and then drop it in the cold water and let it cool down and again squeeze the cold water.

step 6

  • STEP 6.Once all the water is drained out our cheena is ready.

step 7

  • STEP 7.Now once the chenna cools we will start kneading the cheena making sure there are no lumps. This step is very crucial. Knead the cheena with the help of your palm and burst all your energy kneading it

step 8

  • STEP 8.Now add ¼ tsp cornflour and knead it well with the cheena.

step 9

  • STEP 9.Take a little amount from the dough and make a circle(you know the shape of rasgulla).

step 10

  • STEP 10.Rub your palm with little oil and repeat the same by taking each rasgulla circle.

step 11

  • STEP 11.For the sugar syrup- we are taking 350gms of sugar and just enough water to dissolve the sugar.

step 12

  • STEP 12.Once the sugar dissolves we will add a few strands of saffron and 2-3 slightly crushed cardamoms pod.

step 13

  • STEP 13.Let the aroma spread and it’s gonna smell divine.

step 14

  • STEP 14.Add the rasgulla circles in the sugar syrup. You can keep it overnight or long enough for the rasgullas to soak the sugar syrup.

step 15

  • STEP 15.Now in a saucepan add 300ml of milk and 150ml of condensed milk.

step 16

  • STEP 16.Let it cook and keep the milk runny(don’t overheat it, we want the rasgullas to soak in the milk).

step 17

  • STEP 17.Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

step 18

  • STEP 18.And now we will take the rasgullas and take out the sugar syrup completely by squeezing it.

step 19

  • STEP 19.We will place the rasgullas in an oven tray and then pour the milk we just made.

step 20

  • STEP 20.Let’s top it with some khoya.

step 21

  • STEP 21.Bake it for 5mins at 180 degrees celsius.

step 22

  • STEP 22.We will garnish it with some nuts and pistachios.
