Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak urad dal and moong dal for a few hours. Grind them into a smooth batter.
  • STEP 2.Add salt, baking soda, and chopped green chilies to the batter. Mix well.
  • STEP 3.Shape the batter into small vadas and bake them in a preheated oven until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Soak the baked vadas in water for a few minutes and squeeze out the excess water.
  • STEP 5.Arrange the vadas on a serving plate, pour whisked yogurt over them, and garnish with chutneys and spices.
  • STEP 6.Serve chilled as an appetizer or snack.
