Ingredients for Baked Cod Parcels with Black Bean Sauce Recipe

  • As required Parchment paper double layer large enough to fold over at the top and sides of the fish
  • 100 gram Black cod fish other white light fish
  • 1/2 inch Green onions 2 washed ends trimmed and cut into segments
  • 1/2 inch Ginger knob peeled sliced and julienned
  • As required Chili peppers optional as desired
  • As required Salt to taste
  • As required White pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1/4 tablespoon Canola oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger grated
  • 1/4 Green onion chopped
  • 1/2 Garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black bean sauce
  • 1/4 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tamari sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sugar or sugar alternative i did not add any but you may want to add balance the flavors
  • 1/2 tablespoon Water
  • As required Green onions as desired
  • As required Cilantro as desired
  • As required Chili peppers as desired
