Gujarati traditional cuisine prepapred from bajra flour combined with onions, ginger garlic paste and seasoning ingredients. Kebabs are prepared from the dough. Steamed and further pan fried.

Ingredients for Bajra Muthiya Recipe

  • 1 cup Bajra flour
  • 1 No.s Onion
  • 1 cup Coriander
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 No.s Green chillies
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sugar
  • As required Salt
  • As required Oil  for cooking
  • As required Water  for kneading
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard oil
  • As required a few Curry leaves

Directions: Bajra Muthiya Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take in a bowl, a cup of bajra flour, add one medium sized chopped onion, a cup of coriander leaves, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds, green chillies chopped, a spoon of sugar, salt to taste and oil.
  • STEP 2.Mix well. Add water to knead a dough.
  • STEP 3.Make kebabs steam for 10-15 minutes
  • STEP 4.Take a pan, heat a spoon of oil,   add a spoon of mustard oil, cumin seeds and a pinch of asafoetida. Add curry leaves and saute.
  • STEP 5.Add the steamed muthiya and cook.
  • STEP 6.The muthiya is ready.
