  • STEP 1.Wash and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes. Drain the water and keep aside.
  • STEP 2.Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, and bay leaves. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add green peas, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
