A very quick easy sweet dish prepared from badam Puri dipped into sugar syrup.an authentic and traditional south indian dessert recipe made with plain flour, almonds and sugar syrup. the recipe is a delicacy from the south state of karnataka but has become a south indian sensational sweet recipe. the texture and taste almost resemble the badusha or balushahi recipe, yet has a unique flavour and taste of its own.

- 2 cup refined flour
- 2 tablespoon Semolina
- 2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 20-25 almonds
- 2 teaspoon fine sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 15-20 Nos black cloves
- As required Desi ghee
- 1/2 tablespoon cardamom powder
- As required Refined oil

How to Make Badam Ki Puri Recipe
STEP 01
Soak almonds in warm water for 15-20 mins
STEP 02
Add refined flour,semolina in a vessel.
STEP 03
Add fine sugar,¼ tsp salt and mix well.
STEP 04
Add baking powder,2 tbsp ghee and knead.
STEP 05
Now add milk to make a dough.
STEP 06
Apply some ghee on the dough and keep it for some time
STEP 07
Peel the almonds
STEP 08
Now grind the almonds coarsely in a mixture grinder.
STEP 09
1.add one cup of water in a vessel and add sugar to make a syrup.
STEP 10
2.add cardamom powder to the syrup.

3.boil the sugar syrup until it feels sticky to the hands
STEP 12
4.make balls of the dough
STEP 13
5.apply ghee and flatten the dough,fill in some grinded almonds in the centre and fold it into half.
STEP 14
6.again put some almonds in the centre of the folded part and fold again into a cone like shape.
STEP 15
7.apply some ghee and flat it a little.
STEP 16
8.flatten all the balls in the same way & then insert a clove on the centre of each puri.
STEP 17
9.add oil in a kadai and heat it.
STEP 18
10.flip and fry the puri from both the sides at low flame.

11.now dip the puri into the sugar syrup.
