  • 1/2 Cardamom Pods
  • 1 Cloves
  • 1/2 Onions, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Tomatoes, Finely Chopped

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a blender, grind almonds into a fine paste with a little water.
  • STEP 2.Marinate the chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, almond paste, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan and add whole spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  • STEP 5.Add marinated chicken and cook until it is well coated with the masala.
  • STEP 6.Add water, cover the pan, and simmer until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.

Cooking Tips

  • Soak the almonds in hot water for 30 minutes before grinding them into a paste. This will make it easier to blend.
