  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Boil the baby jackfruit until tender, then remove the seeds and mash the flesh.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and chopped onions. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add the mashed jackfruit, grated coconut, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 4.In a separate bowl, mix rice flour, salt, and water to make a smooth dough.
  • STEP 5.Take a small portion of the dough and flatten it into a circle. Place a spoonful of the jackfruit mixture in the center and fold the edges to seal.
  • STEP 6.Steam the ada in a steamer for about 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • STEP 7.Serve hot as a snack or with coconut chutney.
