A stir fry of baby bok choy tossed with soy sauce and aromatics. Bok choy is widely used in Chinese cooking, frequently in soup, salad, stir fries and filling for spring rolls, pot stickers, steamed buns and dumpling. Its mild flavor shines when it stir fries in sesame oil with a little garlic or ginger and a splash of soy sauce or sprinkle of salt.

Ingredients for Baby Bok Choy Stir Fry Recipe

  • 3 tablespoon Oil
  • 6 Garlic roughly smashed cloves
  • 6 Ginger slices
  • 1 pound Baby bok choy cut in half lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoon Light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Directions: Baby Bok Choy Stir Fry Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Wash 1 lb baby bok choy heads and dry them. Cut them in halves.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Put a wok on medium heat, add 3 tbsp oil, 6 whole cloves garlic roughly smashed, 6 slices of ginger and stir fry on high heat for 20 to 30 seconds till fragrant.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Add 1lb baby bok choy cut in half lengthwise and stir fry for 1 to 2 minutes.

step 5

  • STEP 1.Then add 2 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, ½ tsp salt and toss well together. Turn off the heat. Bok choy is ready to serve.
