  • 1/10 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 En Chilies, Finely Chopped

  • STEP 1.Soak black gram lentils and rice in water for 4-5 hours.
  • STEP 2.Drain the water and grind the lentils and rice into a smooth batter.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions, green chilies, curry leaves, and salt to the batter.
  • STEP 4.Heat a tawa or griddle and pour a ladleful of batter onto it.
  • STEP 5.Spread the batter in a circular motion to form a dosai.
  • STEP 6.Drizzle oil around the edges and cook until golden brown.
  • STEP 7.Flip the dosai and cook the other side until crispy.
  • STEP 8.Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
