How to Make Ayam Goreng Berempah Recipe

step 1


Grind shallots, galangal, ginger, dried chillies, lemongrass, turmeric and make a paste. Pan fry some fennel seeds.

Add coriander powder, fennel powder, cumin powder, curry powder into the ground paste and mix well.

Then marinade the chicken with the ground paste, curry leaves and keep it for 30 mins. Add oil and heat it.

Now add only the chicken pieces into the pan & fry it. Add curry leaves and fry the chicken with lid on.

check every 3-4 mins to avoid burning of chicken pieces. Then add marinade to the pan and saute finely.
