Ingredients for Atte Ka Halwa Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Wheat flour / Gehun ka atta
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 0.17 cup Ghee / Clarified Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Eliachi / Cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Chopped mixed nuts

Directions: Atte Ka Halwa Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1. Into a pan add ghee, wheat flour and keep stirring on a medium flame until the color changes from pale brown to dark brown - for about 7-9 minutes.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2. Turn the gas to low and while stirring pour in water . Add water slowly to avoid any lump formation. Keep stirring. The halwa will thicken.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3. Add sugar and mix well and cook until the sugar dissolves for about 5 mins. Stir in elaichi powder and mix it.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4. Take it off the flame. Garnish with chopped nuts.
