Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix rice flour, grated coconut, jaggery, cardamom powder, and water to make a smooth batter.
  • STEP 2.Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladleful of the batter. Spread it evenly to form a thin pancake.
  • STEP 3.Cook until the edges turn golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
  • STEP 4.Repeat the process to make more pancakes.
  • STEP 5.Place a pancake on a baking tray and spread a layer of sweet filling on top.
  • STEP 6.Repeat the layers until all the pancakes and filling are used.
  • STEP 7.Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  • STEP 8.Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
  • STEP 9.Cut into pieces and serve warm or at room temperature.
