STEP 1.Take a mixing bowl , add ata , keep aside .
STEP 2.Take a pan , add 1 cup lukewarm water . Add sugar in it , mix it well until sugar is dissolved.
STEP 3.Now add sugar syrup slowly slowly into the ata , mix it well.
STEP 4.In goes elaichi powder , oil & baking soda, mix it well .
STEP 5.Keep whisking till fluffy. Rest the batter for 2 hours .
STEP 6.Take a wok , add good amount of oil , heat it.
STEP 7.Moderate the flame , take small portions of the batter , drop in hot oil .
STEP 8.Fry it until light brown .
STEP 9.Take out on an absorbent paper so that extra oil is absorbed.
STEP 10.Serve it in a bowl.
