  • 125 gram Ash Gourd, Peeled And Chopped
  • 1/4 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • as needed A Few Curry Leaves
  • 1/2 Dried Red Chilies
  • 1/2 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 0.13 cup Grated Coconut
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 Green Chilies

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Peel and chop the ash gourd into small pieces.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and dried red chilies.
  • STEP 3.Add the chopped ash gourd, tamarind pulp, salt, and water. Cook until the ash gourd is tender.
  • STEP 4.In a blender, grind coconut, cumin seeds, and green chilies to a smooth paste.
  • STEP 5.Add the coconut paste to the cooked ash gourd and simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with steamed rice.
