Ingredients for Arroz Blanco Recipe

  • 1/4 onion chopped
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable bouillon
  • 3 cup water divided
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 1 Jalapeño or serrano pepper
  • 1/4 cup frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup frozen carrots
  • 1/4 cup water if needed

Directions: Arroz Blanco Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Add onions, garlic,bouillon, and ½ cup of water to a blender and blend until smooth.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Heat olive oil in a pot and add rice.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Toast for 2 minutes.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Add the onion mixture and stir for 4 mins.

step 5

  • STEP 1.Cut the jalapeno from center.

step 6

  • STEP 1.Add the jalapenos.

step 7

  • STEP 1.Cook until the rice is cooked. Serve hot.
