  • 0.33 cup Long Beans, Chopped
  • 0.33 Onion, Chopped
  • 0.17 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • as needed A Few Curry Leaves
  • 0.17 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.33 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 0.33 cup Grated Coconut
  • 0.33 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 0.67 Green Chilies
  • 0.67 tablespoon Oil

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and chop the snake gourd and long beans into small pieces.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add curry leaves and chopped onions.
  • STEP 3.Add the chopped vegetables, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 4.In a blender, grind coconut, cumin seeds, and green chilies to a fine paste.
  • STEP 5.Add the coconut paste to the cooked vegetables and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  • STEP 6.Arachu Thenga Churakka Payar is ready to be served. Enjoy it with rice or roti.
