  • STEP 1.Soak the lentils in water for 2-3 hours and then drain.
  • STEP 2.Grind the soaked lentils into a smooth paste.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and red chili powder.
  • STEP 4.Add the lentil paste and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.In a separate bowl, mix tamarind pulp with water and add it to the pan.
  • STEP 6.Add salt and let the curry simmer for 10-15 minutes.
