  • 1/2 cup self rising flour
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 3/4 tablespoon sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.13 teaspoon salt
  • 1.50 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 Nos egg
  • 1 cup warm milk

How to Make Apam Balik Recipe

STEP 01

Take a bowl and add all the batter ingredients,whisk well and cover tightly with a cling film and leave for rest for 30 mins

STEP 02

After 30 mins,whisk the batter again before using.

STEP 03

1.melt some unsalted butter in a pan and then pour in ¾ cup(190 ml)batter into the pan

STEP 04

2.using the back of the ladle, swirl and spread the batter evenly.

STEP 05

3.cover the pan with a lid and cook for 2-3 mins until bubbles appear.

STEP 06

4.uncover the pan and sprinkle the granulated sugar evenly,add in chopped roasted peanuts and several tsp of creamy sweet corn.

STEP 07

5.now cover the pan again and cook it fully.

STEP 08

S cooked remove the lid and put some slices of unsalted butter.

7.now with a help of spatula take take it out and fold it in half and serve
