In a pot add the red beans and 5 cups of water and boil them

Discard the water

In a clean pot add water and red beans

Simmer for ½ - 1hr until they are soft
STEP 05
Discard the water
STEP 06
Add sugar to the red beans and cook on medium heat
STEP 07
Keep mixing well together
