  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 2.75 Leaves
  • 1/4 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 Green Chilies, Slit
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1/4 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
  • as required Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the fish with turmeric powder and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish until golden brown. Set aside.
  • STEP 3.In the same pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and chopped onions. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, and spices like turmeric, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Cook for a minute.
  • STEP 5.Add coconut milk and tamarind pulp. Bring it to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 6.Add the fried fish and cook for another 5 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or bread.
