Ingredients for Anjaneya Vada Recipe

  • 1 cup Urad dal
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 sprig Curry leaves
  • As required Salt
  • 1/2 cup Rice flour
  • 1/4 liter Oil For Frying

Directions: Anjaneya Vada Recipe

  • STEP 1.Rinse and soak urad dal 4-5 hours.
  • STEP 2.In a grinder take 2 cups of soaked urad dal, 2 tsp of black pepper, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, curry leaves and salt and grind everything mentioned together.
  • STEP 3.In a mixing bowl take out the grinded mix and add 1 cup of rice flour.
  • STEP 4.Knead the mix to make a dough and prepare small tikki’s.
  • STEP 5.In a pan add oil for deep frying and drop the prepared tikki’s in the oil and fry both the sides till golden colour appears.
  • STEP 6.Remove the tikki from the pan and drain excess oil.
  • STEP 7.Serve anjaneya vada hot for the crispy crust.
