  • 1/2 cup Roasted Peanuts
  • 1/2 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
  • 1 cloves Cloves Of Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • as per your need Water As Needed
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Urad Dal
  • as needed A Few Curry Leaves

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Dry roast peanuts in a pan until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 2.Allow the peanuts to cool and then remove the skin.
  • STEP 3.In a blender, add the roasted peanuts, tamarind, garlic, red chili powder, salt, and water. Blend until smooth.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves. Once they splutter, add the chutney mixture and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Remove from heat and serve the Andhra Palli Chutney with dosas, idlis, or any South Indian breakfast dish.

Cooking Tips

  • You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less red chili powder.
  • For a tangier taste, you can add more tamarind pulp.
  • Make sure to remove the skin from the peanuts to get a smooth texture.
